Expensive Taste, No Money...

I don't know what it is, but I've got some expensive taste. I am always encountering this. Always. I'll be at Marshall's, where every handbag is $20-$40 dollars but for some reason the one I pick out is the only one with a security tag and a price well over $100. I'll be flipping through a magazine and see a spread of cute shoes. They are all adorable and mostly affordable, but of course, my favorites are listed at some ridiculous $600 price down in the footnotes. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN? I've spent a little time perusing Pinterest for spring and summer fashions, mostly because I'm looking forward to getting my body back and being able to wear normal clothes again. Again, some prices are crazy. We're planning a summer vacation with all of Phil's family and so I was looking for cute dresses. My favorite one, which is simple and cotton, is listed at $1285. Say what?! Pretty sure that's how much we paid for my wedding gown!

Anyway, it got me thinking about style - looking nice (maybe even expensive) but without the HUGE pricetag. So I started putting together a little montage of the pieces I'm fond of. Here are a few things I really love right now, but most of them are out of my price range. I'm on a mission to find affordable versions of each!

We'll see! Love,
