Okay, round 3 is for sharing songs that have recently been rocking my world. They are all very different from each other. They each take me to a different place. Check them out:
Just found this last week. It instantly induced sobbing, thanks to the postpartum hormones, I'm sure. This is I have Never Loved Someone by My Brightest Diamond. A BEAUTIFUL lullaby, indeed.
This one is PERFECT for dreaming big. Our version is nearly 7 minutes long and there are no lyrics. It's ideal for a nice long drive, dreaming about what's next in life. This is Ocean by the John Butler Trio. I read that each time he performs this song, he does it differently. Never the same version! A MUST on your playlist!
This last one is just a fun song. It puts me in a great mood every time I hear it. This is Little Talks by Of Monsters and Men. Great for a roadtrip or family dance party. How great are bands with both male and female vocals? Love it!
