One tradition I love is that Phil's parents gift each new Stroessner baby with a handmade quilt. When Addie was born, she was given an owl quilt. When Ingrid was born, she was given a fox quilt. I absolutely love them. They are traditional, yet modern, and oh so cute!
My grandma does a similar thing for all the babes born in our family, except she embroiders them. I'll show you her quilts in another post, soon! :)
